Blessed with a devastating combination of size and speed, Ottio racked up 29 tries in 23 games for the Raiders feeder club Mounties.His season was interrupted by an ACL injury sustained late in the season but an NRL debut wont be far away once he returns to the field in 2017.Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks -?Jayden BraileyMichael Ennis is the only player from the Sharks Grand Final-winning team that wont be at the club in 2017 but Jayden Brailey represents a ready-made replacement.The local junior represented the Australian Schoolboys in 2014, was named in the 2015 NYC Team of the Year and could make the No.9 jumper his own for a long time,?Gold Coast Titans -?Greg LeleisiuaoGreg Leleisiuao is an explosive runner of the ball - so much so that he was compared to Greg Inglis in 2015 when just 18-years-old. The Auckland-born speedster is yet to make his NRL debut but gave a clear insight into his potential with a number of impressive performances in the 2016 Auckland Nines.As a former hip hop dancer,?Leleisiuao is clearly quick on his feet and with the Titans losing a number of outside backs such as Nene Macdonald, David Mead,?Josh Hoffman and Brian Kelly, 2017 may present him with a golden opportunity to establish his NRL career.Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles - Peter SchusterPeter Schuster was lured from Australias Rugby Sevens to Manly in 2016 - a major coup for the Sea Eagles. Australian-born but with a strong Samoan heritage, Schuster is the latest in a rich bloodline of talent that includes his uncle John Schuster - a dual international with 10 caps for the All Blacks, three for Samoa and two rugby league Tests for Western Samoa.Schuster was discovered by Manly great and former Aussie Sevens coach Michael OConnor in 2013 before going on to represent the Australian under-19s and Samoa under-20s. He boasts natural flare, explosive speed and can play fullback, wing and centre.Melbourne Storm - Curtis ScottCurtis Scott is a former bricklayer now building a career in rugby league and his glittering resume suggests he has already established a solid foundation in which to do so. Born and bred in Sydneys Sutherland shire, Scott made the bold move to leave his junior club in 2016 to further his career under the guidance of Craig Bellamy at the Storm.The 19-years-old is comfortable at both centre and wing and has already impressed many good judges with fine performances for the New South Wales and Australian Schoolboys under-18s teams. Scott made two NRL appearances at the start of 2016 before his season was cut short with a broken leg in Round 4 - ironically against his former club the Sharks.But it would seem a matter of when not if we see him back in the top grade and with lingering doubts over Billy Slaters future, he may just become a household name in 2017.Newcastle Knights - Ken TofilauKen Tofilau still qualified for the Knights NYC side in 2016 but spent most of the season getting accustomed to the faster pace of reserve grade. The highly rated Kiwi was the named the Knights NYC Player of the Year in 2015, and was equally impressive when promoted to NSW Cup where he played a leading role in Newcastles grand final win and State Championship match.Blessed with blistering speed and mesmerising footwork, Tofilau has represented NZ Residents 16s, NZ Residents 17s and New Zealand U18s and Newcastle great and rugby league immortal Andrew Johns is one of his biggest fans so a taste of NRL football in 2017 wouldnt come as a shock.?New Zealand Warriors -?Mafoaaeata HinganoAta Hingano grew up playing with Brad Abbey, the Bulldogs rookie identified earlier, and has already compiled a strong resume that includes representing the Kiwis under-16s in 2012, under-18s in 2014, the Warriors NYC Grand Final winners in 2015 as well as being named the NRL clubs Rookie of the Year in 2016.Hingano made two NRL appearances 2016 and while there are sure to be many more to come, however, they may not necessarily be at the Warriors.
